Right now, the most explosive way to make money on Internet sales is with article marketing. There must be a few thousand article directories online right now trying to cash in on this boom market. There also must be over a zillion articles in all of the directories combined, but this is not stopping this Internet method of making money.
Article writing is the most popular way of providing information to people and at the same time pitch a product. Simply stated, if you want exposure of any kind on the Internet, then writing articles and submitting them to solid article directories will put you in the driver’s seat.

Every article needs to convey information that is relevant to your market. If someone searches for information that is related to the topic of your article, they may find your article ? and you can put a link to your site at the bottom of each article. If the reader is interested by your article, they will likely visit your site, which can translate into sales of your product or service. This, in a nutshell, is how article marketing can make you money!
Now, if you are submitting articles to the article directories, the object is to get your articles showing up high in the list of search results ? and this means on the first page of results. If you want your articles seen and read (and that link back to your website used), you’re going to have to learn all about search engine optimization (or SEO for short). Don’t worry, it’s actually quite simple.
Search the Internet for free information on how to use keywords correctly and what search engines look for when they rank pages. You could be a very polished writer when it comes to writing articles, but no one will find you if you don’t learn search engine optimization techniques. Once you know what Google is looking for, you’re well on your way to success. Search engine optimization (also known as SEO) is not rocket science and only requires some basic knowledge. You want to look for keywords, relevancy, and of course have some skill at writing. This is the general idea for SEO.
Are you ready to begin writing articles to submit to your favorite article directory or several? This type of article writing is a bit different than those you might read in a magazine, for example. Internet articles should not be shorter than 500 words or longer than 1200 words, in general. In addition, you must make sure your content is relevant to what you want to sell. However, if you know your product or your service well and you also know your market, all you’ll need is a little writing skill to become an expert article writer that everyone will read (and buy products and/or services from, too).
