The job that will provide the financial freedom to do what you want when you want is for what everyone is looking. Unless you become a multimillionaire, that job isn’t out there, however, there is an opportunity to earn the money you deserve and have more time for your family. Working from home allows you to have the financial freedom to be there for your family and to take off time when needed.
The ability to be with the family is the number one reason most parents choose to work from home. If a person has more than one child, day care is so expensive that every penny earned goes almost directly to day care payments. The summer time is the time more money on day care is spent if the parent has school-aged children.
Adding up very quickly, day care is needed for all children during the summer. While the work at home parent works in their office or does paperwork, the children can play outside. For a couple of hours, when the parent needs to go to a meeting, a responsible teenager can be hired because they always need extra cash.
Working from home has become an essential tool in saving money in this economy where gas and grocery prices have skyrocketed. It doesn’t seem like much, just saving money on gas. Living an average of over ten miles from the workplace, driving back and forth adds up.
Working outside of the home comes with many expenses. Only a couple of these expenses are day care and gas. Money that need not be used for lunches, parking spots, dress clothes, dry cleaning, dinners on the run after a late meeting and much more can be saved.
The loss of health insurance that is provided by corporate jobs is a fear many people endure. Including owning a small business, many insurance companies give some entities discounts. From unexpected places, owning a small business can garner you many discounts.
Those who own their own business can get rewards from credit card companies. Various companies, such as not-for-profit companies, can apply for tax-exemption. Some small businesses take care of other small businesses in the form of discounts.
The financial freedom received from knowing exactly where all the income goes is one of the basic reasons for owning your own home business. The owner can adjust the prices of the product or services accordingly when they know exactly how much is going to overhead. Being able to offer lower prices because of lower overhead makes small home businesses a sought after asset.
Minimum wage pay, lease payments and stock to buy is what large corporations need to pay. At a smaller amount, the home business also has stock to buy. This stock is pretty much the only overhead needed in a small home business.
A small business can be extremely profitable since this is the only expense. The owner can use the Internet to advertise across the country if their product or service is widely needed. The owner can expand their advertising once the profits start to come in and a website can be made free of charge.
The small business owner can see profits within the first year due to not having to share the profits, not paying the daily corporate job expenses and with getting discounts. The immediate profits, being closer to the family, are a huge benefit. A person seeking financial freedom can look no farther than starting a home business.
